Crysis 2 installation troubles?

I bought Crysis 2 a while back, beat it, then uninstalled it (but kept my saved games/data) off my computer a few months back because I needed more room on my hard drive. Today I got in the mood to play, but ran into some trouble.



When I stick in the CD there is no installation option, only Play, Technical Support, View the readme file, and Quit. This is all well and good, however when I click "Play" a patch begins to download.



Here's where things catch up on themselves: When the patch finishes downloading it tells me that it can't locate any place to put it, due to the fact that the game technically doesn't exist on my computer anymore. However, its not giving me the option of installing it again. So essentially its a never ending cycle. Can anyone help me with this problem?Crysis 2 installation troubles?
i think you need to make sure all data relating to crysis 2 is deleted so that it can properly conclude it is no longer installedCrysis 2 installation troubles?

Crysis 2 Nano Catalyst Bug?

Okay, i just beat the crysis 2 campaign, and it was... awesome, to say the least. And when I replay it, I get all of my nanosuit modules that I had before in my other playthrough, which I like better because it gives me different ways to play the game from the beginning on. It's just that now, I can no longer collect Nano Catalyst anymore, which sucks because I still had 2 Modules left to unlock. I'm using PC and I just downloaded the 1.2 Patch and it did nothing to solve this problem. Is there anyone who has experienced the same problem and can help me?

Why i cant update my crysis 2 ?

i have a pirated version, but that doesnt seem to be a problem at all.

ive reinstalled 2 times, im tired trying for 2-3 hours now..

i want to upgrade it to the 1.9 version (DX 11) , ive tryed to install patch after patch, from 1.1 to .1.9 but it says that i should reistall CRYSIS 2 cuz it couldnt find.. please help meWhy i cant update my crysis 2 ?
Because your .exe is cracked, put the original in and just install the patch 1.9 then the dx11 patch then the high res textures if you want them and then put the cracked .exe back in and it will work.Why i cant update my crysis 2 ?
But it worked did it not? I had the exact same problem and that's the fix

never saw the additional details there, you do need another crack for dx11, once you patch it search the pirate bay for the 1.9 crack and it'll work.



I ended up buying the game for the multiplayer.

Should I buy Crysis 2 PC version?

I know there are dozens of 90+ reviews of Crysis 2 out there but I also heard that the game has been dumb down compared to the first. I heard Crysis 2 is more linear, suit is now weaker, and the enemy AI is glitchy. I hope the next patch, which the developer is planning to post for download, will fix one or two of these problems. Should I wait for the patch before I buy the game, should I buy right away, or should I avoid this game?



I enjoyed playing the first Crysis because the game allowed me to approach the enemies in various ways and made me feel like a super hero. And I'm afraid to buy the sequel because of these rumors. I don't mind if the stage is now set to the urban jungle or graphics doesn't look as good as Crysis, but I do care about whether there are sandbox elements or not in the game and how re-playable it is.Should I buy Crysis 2 PC version?
Absolutely ....y not?crysis 2 is very good game compared to crysis..and believe me ive played it....the AI is much much improved and the graphics consume less that first crysis, but looks most amazing...



but i have to confess, its not re-playable...its very good, but is not replayabe...



and please, for god's sake, don't believe in the rumors..crysis 2 nanosuit is more developed and gives u more options to kill enemy and WILL make u feel like a super-superhero...

Sandbox=999999 Hours+



And by the way it completely feels nothing like an average FPS its something different and unique. A very compelling single player and addictive Multiplayer. I would says its a must buy!

Cracked Crysis 2 Multiplayer?

Hi guys! Recently I bought new PC and just downloaded Crysis 2. This game is amazing, but Im more of a Multiplayer. Can anyone help me how to play Multi on a cracked Crysis 2? I tried to look in google, but I dont really know which patch to download etc.Cracked Crysis 2 Multiplayer?

Sadly, cracks to play online for Crysis 2 don't exist. The games requires a product key, and each key is unique to the game. So it's extremely hard for crackers to create a product key that would work.



I suggest not downloading anything that states that you can play Crysis 2 online. 100% chance of you getting a bad virus/trojan/malware. Definitely not worth it.Cracked Crysis 2 Multiplayer?
There are hardly any cracks that allow you to play online, online codes are different to serials, once they are used, it can never be used again.

Crysis 2 lag for unknown reason.?

My Crysis 2 PC game lags for an unknown reason. I'm at the last mission (a walk in the park) and it never lagged like that before. Well it's not really a "lag" its like motion blur is overflowing. So whenever I move my mouse the game responds after 1 second and everything is just falling behind.

Details:



I HAVE set motion blur and FOV OFF with "Crysis 2 advanced graphics options tool"

I HAVE tried different graphic options.

I HAVE patched the game.

I DO NOT have a pirate version of the game.

My graphics card: Invidia GeForce GT 330M.

System: Windows 7 home premium.

Processor: IntelCore Inside i5



After playing the game WITH lag my laptop overheats and turns off. And its about +80C

Weird thing is that I had the same problem with the DEMO version of the game.



Any suggestions? Cause I really want to finish the game and start with MultiPlayer since I haven't tried it yet.



By the way. A second tiny tiny problem. My console wont open whatever I do. the hit key " 藝 " wont do anything I've tried different shortcut commands and I have the 1.1 patch installed. What can I do?Crysis 2 lag for unknown reason.?
crysis 2 take too much ram....its very heavy game....the minimum requirement is 4 gigs or more...just try to run the game with more ram..

Crysis 2 or Brink (explanation please!) ?

Ok, I am almost done saving some extra money to get a new game (I have Xbox 360) and after seeing the competition I just can't make my mind up! I was going to get Homefront but after my brother bought and sold it, I became aware of the neglectful developers who didn't think it necessary to patch the freezes. So didn't get that. He then got Crysis 2 and that was "my cuppa tea(!)" I loved the graphics (I'm no graphics freak) and the gameplay, the weapons and suit modes -EVRYTHING! But then I saw Brink... a campaign and multiplayer wrapped up into one? Customizabiliy to the highest extent? Thankyou very much! What gripped my with this is that I love customizing charactars, and keeping that for online is a great idea! But Crysis 2 still looks good, so which one to get? Please explain so I know more about the game in question!

Both are great games. I would say that Crysis 2, dissapointed me a little. Yeah, graphics are top-notch, but to be honest I think that game lost it charm. Multiplayer is good, something like COD series. Single player is nice, computer controlled characters are smart enought, it's like you are playing Counter Strike online. Brink is more multiplayer based game than singleplayer, you could jump basically on any platform, it's like Mirrors Edge mixed with Fps. It's really hard to say which is better, but if you don't play xbox live, buy Crysis 2, if you have, then take the Brink, it has more customization, but you can't deny that crysis 2 hasn't, you can upgrade and mod your weapons and so on.

BTW when I said before that you can jump anywhere and on anything in Brink, i forgot to mention that that system is called S.m.a.r.t.

Buy Crysis 2 if you like singleplayer, graphics, smart AI.
Brink if you like multiplayer, cartoony graphics, customization, physics.
